The owner of this charity shop contacted us to buy a roller shutter after a spate of burglaries in the area as they had a major concern that their business would be targeted next. Due to the existing door at the rear of the property been in a secluded area and offering little strength to any would be intruders they were very keen to see how we could help.
Having liaised with the maintenance company that would be completing the installation Roller Doors Ltd was able to offer a number of roller shutters including steel and aluminium designs therefore allowing our client to make the right choice for the level of security they required.
After looking at all the options it was felt that a galvanised steel security shutter would offer the best level of defence for the building.The client therefore chose a manually operated (spring assisted) SeceuroShield 75 galvanised roller shutter door. Furthermore, for ease of installation they also opted to go for the continental design. As you can see from the pictures the rear access door is now well secured against intruder penetration and as such the internal contents of the business should remain safe from the threat of intruders.
